Hello everyone!
Mom is feeling better…finally! She would like for me to ask you guys a few more questions. About how long does it take for your sense of taste to come back? When can you start eating solid foods? And… When does the Peg tube come out?

Mom has had a little break from radiation. Her last treatment was February 25th. She has 10 left after today. Her attitude is positive and she sounds better. She says the 10 day break did actually help her heal a little, and she isn’t in as much pain. Anyone who has had tonsil cancer, and been on erbitux, please let me know if this is similar to what you went through. I think mom would like to know. The burns on her face are starting to heal, hopefully they won’t burn again after she starts back up. She said today was an Ok day, always feeling like crap, but not as bad as it has been lately. I try to send her cards about once a week to brighten her day. They seem to help. I even sent my dad a card last week, thanking him for all he does for her. Hopefully the next two weeks go by fast for her. I will keep ya’ll posted!

I pray that the next 10 treatments go fast and that your mother’s cancer is completely obliterated—- is that the way to spell it? Anyway, I pray that it is completely destroyed. I hate cancer! I am praying for her complete healing.
